AFRICAN HERITAGE WORKSHOP

AFRICAN HERITAGE FORUM is a new cultural organisation that works to  ensure that people of African Robin Walker faciitator of African Heritage Workshopdescent play the leading role in how the heritage is presented and preserved. Also, it supports the initiatives of African heritage practitioners & consultants. The first project, funded by the BIG Lottery, is one that investigates how educators in primary schools at Key Stage 2 transfer to pupils knowledge of Africans, Africa and its heritage, as well as the impact on schools, parents and the community.

The Forum is conducting research at selected schools in London, and will present results at its second HERITAGE WORKSHOP on Friday 13 July 2012 from 7pm to 9pm at  Clapham Park Centre, (behind Richard Atkins Primary School), Kingswood Road, Brixton, SW2 4JP.
The SESSION will be facilitated by ROBIN WALKER (pictured) with the support of Forum officials.
